Cancelation Policy

It can of course happen you need to cancel a tour because of unforeseen circumstances. Our various types of tours have different cancelation rules. This is because tours have different operators and different cost structures. We apply the following rules in case you need to cancel a tour.

  • If you cancel more than 1 month in advance of the starting date of the tour we will refund you the full amount paid.
  • If you cancel between 1 month and 15 days before the starting date of the tour, 50 % of the amount is due.
  • If you cancel between 14 days and 8 days before the starting date of the tour, 75 % of the amount is due.
  • If you cancel 1 week before the starting date of the tour, 100 % of the amount is due.
  • If you don´t show up on the tour, no money will be refunded.

Operators for treks handle different policies, also depending on the season of the year. They need to make high cost once a reservation is made, therefor the prepayment is nonrefundable. Mbuni African Safaris will always try to recover as much as possible from the operator and return it to you in case you need to cancel a tour.
